The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes


We partnered with Scholastic, Inc. for a Digital Campaign to welcome fans back to the world of Panem with the release of the Hunger Games prequel, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. From developing the strategy bible that informed our content, targets, and objectives, to implementing a paid media strategy that amplified our content, to community management and reactive that excited fans for what’s to come, our team owned all aspects of this campaign from start to finish.

By leveraging the original trilogy, we ignited the passion of the Hunger Games fandom, and built anticipation for the newest book among fans new and old. With dynamic teasers and trailers, engaging social content such as trivia, a strategic TikTok partnership, exciting AR activations like a 3D book cover and social filters, and an eventized launch that invited fans to the 10th Hunger Games, we helped turn the release of The Ballads of Songbirds and Snakes into the pop culture event of 2020.
