Partnering with YouTube Red, Ignition showed no mercy by creating the epic AV, Print & Digital campaigns that promised the return of one of the greatest rivalries of all time. It’s an integrated campaign that sweeps the leg.
We created striking in-world billboards for the Cobra Kai Dojo and LaRusso Auto Group that were placed in high traffic areas in New York and Los Angeles.
The Cobra Kai Dojo billboards drove fans to a website, allowing them to interact with the show by calling a toll free number and getting a call back message from Johnny Lawrence himself. The website also encouraged people to email the dojo directly, and we wrote custom responses in Johnny’s voice to further connect with fans and drive anticipation for the show.
Meanwhile, the LaRusso Auto Group billboards prompted viewers to send a text message which would trigger a response message and GIF from the original Karate Kid, pushing fans to check out the trailer on the YouTube channel.
